How to Replace Internal Batteries

The CPX utilizes (6) AAA batteries to power the tester when not connected to a 12V (or 6V) lead acid battery or if the battery being tested has a low voltage.

If the internal AAA batteries need to be replace, the CPX will provide a Warning message.

In addition, the CPX’s battery indicator (located in the top right corner of the screen) will change from blue to red and provide a visual of the low internal battery status

(NOTE: Only if CPX clamps are not connected to a 12V battery to be tested).
