The Message function displays alerts for upcoming tool software updates.

A number is displayed next to the Message Icon on the CPX main menu when there is a software update available
Prior to starting an update, the CPX must be docked or connected to a known good battery.
Once the CPX is powered by either the dock or the good battery, press OK to start the update
